January 14, 2010 – Mammoth Spring Chamber of Commerce Meeting – Stateline Restaurant at Noon.
February 11, 2010 – Mammoth Spring Chamber of Commerce Meeting – LaPastorell Bistro at Noon.
March 6, 2010 - “Cookin’ With Coals” Cook-off Attention Dutch oven chefs! Put on your aprons and let’s have a cook off! What dishes will be judged the tastiest? Teams of 2-3 will stir up breads, main dishes, and desserts. Cooking begins at 10 A.M. – Judging at 2 P.M. Samples available to spectators after the judging. Come to cook or come to eat, either way you’ll have a good time! Entry fee of $15 for each team. Spectators free. Come to the pavilion.
March 11, 2010 – Mammoth Spring Chamber of Commerce Meeting – TBD
March 13, 2010 - Bluebird Day Learn about the Eastern bluebird and build them a house! You will learn how to attract bluebirds, how to build a bluebird box, and how to properly maintain the box. Program begins at 10 A.M. Call by March 6th to reserve your bluebird box kit. Program and materials provided by the Spring River Sportman’s Club. Meet at the maintenance complex.
March 20, 2010 – Basket Weaving Workshop - Let’s step back from our busy lives and learn a hobby that will take us back to a simpler time. Come and weave your own egg/melon basket and take it home with you. Fee of $25 includes all materials. Space limited – call for reservations by March 13th. (870) 625-7364.
March 27, 2010 – “Now We’re Cookin’” Dutch Oven Workshop - Learn the history of the Dutch-oven while helping to prepare a few tasty dishes for sampling! Learn how to “season” a Dutch oven and how to control the heat. Registration required – Fee of $15 – Please call to register by March 20th. Workshop begins at 10 A.M. Meet at the pavilion.
April 3, 2010 - Rabies Clinc - Sponsored by Langley Animal Clinic and the Mammoth Spring Chamber of Commerce. Rabies - $10, Parvo and Distember $15. 9 AM to Noon on the Simmons Bank parking Lot.
April 3, 2010 – Getting Started with Fly-Fishing - Don’t miss this opportunity to learn the basics of fly fishing. Spend a couple of hours learning the terms, equipment, and techniques of fly-fishing from a local fishing guide. Reservations are required because space is limited. Fee is $20. Reserve your place March 1 – March 24, 2010 by calling the park at 870-625-7364.
April 4, 2010 – Easter Egg Scramble - Over 4,000 candy and prize-filled eggs will be hidden for kids 11 years old and younger. The Easter bunny will start the “hunt” near the ballfield at 2 P.M. Don’t be late!
April 8, 2010 – Mammoth Spring Chamber of Commerce Meeting – Bring your lunch from Palace Drug and join us at the Mammoth Spring Lodge Hotel.
April 17, 2010 – Herbfest & Plant Sale - The Mammoth Spring Garden Club members will be out early with herbs and other garden plants to sell. This is an excellent time to pick up the herbs that will make your garden a joy for you! Tour the herb garden and see how the herbs look after they’ve grown a bit. This event starts at 8 A.M. and ends around 1 P.M.
April 24, 2010 – Scalies & Slimies of Arkansas - Frogs, toads, salamanders, turtles, snakes, and more will be displayed. Look at and learn about some of the “scalies & slimies” of Arkansas. Program offered at 10 A.M. and 1 P.M. Meet at the pavilion.

May 15, 2010 – Free Museum Day - Join us at the 1886 Frisco Depot Museum today for a tour and pay no admission. Spend time in the depot, baggage room, and caboose listening to and looking at what life was like in days of the past.
May 22, 2010 – “Kayaking 101” Workshop - Learn the basic paddling & kayaking maneuvers that will equip you for one of the most exciting ways to enjoy our lakes, streams, and rivers. Kayaks, paddles, and life jackets provided. Space is limited – reservations required. Class from 10 A.M. – 4 P.M. Call the park at 870-625-7364 to reserve your kayak. Fee of $25.
May 26, 2010 – Spring River Clean-up - Join us on the beautiful Spring River for a day of canoeing and trash pickup! Not for beginners. Canoes provided by local outfitters. Call by May 19th to register and reserve your canoe. We’ll start the day about 8 A.M. and finish up around 4 P.M. Meet at the welcome center.
June 1, 2010 - June 5, 2010 - The Arkansas Arts Center Traveling Exhibition will be hosted by the Mammoth Spring Chamber of Commerce. The exhibit will be parked on Main Street all week.

June 12, 2010 - Kid's Fishing Derby - The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will host a "Kid's Fishing Derby" for youngsters 12 years old and younger, at the Commission's Jim Hinkle/Spring River State Fish Hatchery on Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 9 AM to 2 PM. The Jim Hinkle /Spring River State Fish Hatchery is located 2.5 miles south of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas at end of State Highway 342. For derby rules and more information, call toll free 877-625-7521.
June 18-19, 2010 – 9th Annual Knap-In - Watch as knappers demonstrate the primitive art of making & using stone tools and arrowheads. If you are a beginning knapper, bring your tools and get a few tips from the seasoned knappers! Event is free to the public. A $5 registration fee is required for knappers. Demonstrations and programs offered from 10 A.M. – 3 P.M. on Saturday.

August 09-14, 2010 – 117th Annual Old Soldier’s Reunion - Carnival rides & games, prizes, crafts, food booths, talent show, bingo, and much more make this week fun for the entire family. Free access and parking. Sponsored by VFW Post 7831.
August 12, 2010 – Mammoth Spring Chamber of Commerce Meeting – Fred's Fish House.
August 14, 2010 – Civil War Re-enactment - Union & Confederate troops will have an encampment from 9:30 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. Watch drills and firing demonstrations while walking through living history. A skirmish between troops will be held at 2 P. M. near the cemetery.
September 4, 2010 – 27th Annual Antique & Classic Car Show - Stop by for a gander at some of the areas best vintage and classic cars or enter your pre-1990’s car or truck! Prizes for “People’s Choice”, “Best of Show”, and “Longest Distance Traveled”. Gates open at 9 A.M. Judging begins at 11 A.M. MAACC event.

September 11, 2010 – 11th Annual Great Arkansas Clean-up - Join park staff and other volunteers for our annual clean-up on the Spring River. Do your part to “clean-up Arkansas”! Not for beginners! October 16, 2010 – “Now We’re Cookin’” Dutch Oven Workshop - Nothing tastes better than a meal cooked in a Dutch oven! Sign up for this hands-on workshop if you’d like to learn how to cook using a Dutch oven. Participants will prepare 3-4 dishes and then eat their creations. Space is limited and reservations are required. Contact the park by October 9, 2010 to hold your spot. Fee of $15.

October 30, 2010 – Doggie Daze - Come with your furriest friend and spend the day watching obedient and agile dogs. Vote for your favorite. Large dogs, small dogs, dressed up dogs, and talented dogs – all are welcome, as long as they are on leash! Contact the park for more information at (870) 625-7364. Small entry fee for participants.
